Live in Missouri-born in Honolulu- at 64 yrs of age now-got a hankerin’ for poi…found some dasheen taro tubers and steamed and mashed and looks like poi- but no purple- only light gray- do you think it was a dry land taro? WHAT exactly is the true name for the true Hawaiian taro (biological) I have the ti and white ginger growing here- for several years now so maybe I can grow the taro too? Any insight appreciated.. Aloha
I bought some pa’i'ai from Erick at Waianae High /
farmer Market today but there was no information sheet on pa’i'ai.
I would like some recipes on how to use, cook, shelf life how to store how long it last before spoling?
I came to this web site but found no recipes
Maybe and information sheet would be good to have when selling.
